Mike Smiarowski's CDs are jazz guitar-driven tour de forces, showcasing his command of playing mixed with intricate, melodic songwriting, whether it be bossa nova, island vibe, pop instrumentals, or slow romantic ballads. His backing band shines alongside their musical leader. All three of his CDs were composed and arranged entirely by Mike.

'Island Fantasy II' is the perfect setting to highlight Mike's guitar mastery. Playing electric, classical and acoustic guitars, the tracks are rich, diverse and timeless. The cuts are upbeat and intriguing; others relaxing and romantic, while still others are haunting. As a guitar player, Mike can be compared to many of the best.
