Because of Al Gomes and A. Michelle of Big
Noise's efforts, Alice Cooper and songwriting partner Dick
Wagner's song 'Only Women Bleed' (recorded by Dick's
newest discovery, Wensday) was placed on the official ballot
by The Recording Academy for the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards
for Record of the Year and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance,
and Alice and Dick's song 'Something to Remember Me By'
(from 'Welcome to My Nightmare 2') was placed on the 55th
Annual Grammy Awards ballot for Best Rock Performance and
Best Rock Song.
'Let me start by saying how much your efforts
to elevate my Grammy status means to me. You actually created
one of the most important events in my career. I am proud to have come as far as we did - thanks
to my friend Al Gomes. I thank you passionately
for even taking notice in the first place.'
- Dick Wagner / January 7, 2013
