A fan writes: I'm a huge Christina fan! I was wondering if she's planning on / wants to make a movie. A lot of other singers have done it and Christina has said that she wants to be an all-around entertainer, so I thought that perhaps she would! Thanks.

Shelly: Actually, Christina has been offered scripts right along since the start of her career - all of which she's turned down. She says she wants to do that at some point, but she's not wanted to do anything but focus on her music for now.

Her only on-screen appearance recently was her collaboration with Coca-Cola for their summer 2001 promotion - which produced spots that ran on tv and in movie theatres across the U.S. The spots were very well-received.

I'm sure you'll see Christina in movies in the future, though, as it is something she'd like to explore.
