A fan writes: Hi Shelly! I have a question: (Sorry it's so personal) I heard from a TV music station that Christina was dating Dave Grohl from the Foo Fighters. That's quite the rumor if it's not true. Isn't he a little old? They're not dating, are they? I understand if this one can't be answered, curiosity got the better of me. If any of these gets a response I thank you ahead of time!! :)

Christina's mom Shelly: Hi! And no problem! As I've stated in my replies on the site, we don't mind personal questions at all. The asking of the questions isn't a problem...just the irrational behavior of some people when they flip out in anger if we choose not to answer something. That is the problem. Trust me, you have no idea how nasty some people get. But your questions are perfectly fine, and the respectful way in which you ask is wonderful...thank you so much. :)

And no, we were as surprised as anyone else to hear about this Dave Grohl rumor. Christina's never dated him...not even once! They met once when Christina was recording in the same building as Dave, but that's about it. After I found out that it was the Sun that invented this rumor, I wasn't surprised. They are the same ones who pretended to have had that interview with my mom (which never took place) where she said awful things about Christina. Do they ever print anything that's true? Sheesh! :)
