Mrs. Graves & Family: I was an 8th grade student
of Mr. Graves at Lymansville Elementary School. I did not
know then what I know now, that he was an inspiration to
me. After many years, he entered my life in the town of
Lincoln. I am so glad I was able to acknowlege him, much
to his surprise, at a School Committee Meeting one evening.
For if not for Chuck Graves, I would have never been able
to stand and address the committee with such confidence
and passion. He was a man who touched many lives and I am
so lucky that I was one of them.

Dear Mrs. Graves,
I was very sad to hear of Mr. Graves' passing. I had the
pleasure of working with him last year at Ricci Middle School,
and this year at McGuire. He made coming to work a plesure.
He was very caring to the faculty and students. I admired
his unique style. May he rest in peace.

Please accept my deepest sympathy.
Mr. Graves was at Saylesville the first few years my son
was there. I'll always remember bumping in to him one night
at the old Lincoln Lanes, and he came over to watch my six
year old son throw 3-4 strikes in a row, He was amazed at
how well Brian bowled. He never forgot it because everytime
I would see him he would remember that day, and Brian always
remembered Mr. Graves watched him bowl. He was truly a wonderful
educator and a wonderful person.

My deepest sympathy to the Graves family during this difficult time. Mr. Graves was my 7th and 8th grade teacher at Ricci School (formerly Lymansville School) and definitely one who made a lifelong impression. He taught me an early appreciation of Shakespeare and French culture. His inspiration lives on in his students.

Dear Janice and Family: May
all the memories of your life's journey with Chuck carry
you through the comming days and weeks. Chuck was an amazing
spirit. I had the pleasure to work for him at Marieville
Emementary School. He was my favorite principal to work
with. He was clear, consistent, understanding, empathetic,
and exhibited a clear respect for his colleagues. His sense
of humor and laughter was contagious. He will be missed,
but he has definitely left his mark on all those fortunate
enough to have crossed paths with him. My thoughts and prayers
are with you all at this most difficult time.
