Shelly: Hi Bridget! Ok, let's see....first of all, if you're asking if Jorge and Christina broke up, yes, they did.

Second, are you asking how I felt about Christina's dream to become a singer when she was little? If so, I thought it was a fine dream, seeing as she loved to sing so very much.

And third, how I feel about the rumors is basically mildly annoyed, but I really don't pay much attention to them. To be honest with you, I really don't worry about people liking or disliking my daughter. If they do, wonderful. If they don't, it's their loss, whether they realize it or not.

The part concerning rumors that does bother me - the reason I run the 'Rumor Mill' and work to clear things up - is to educate the public - not to try solely to make people like my daughter. You see, that is a very shallow viewpoint. Whomever thinks that is simply missing the big picture and the entire reason I'm online doing this.

I try to give fans a place to actually see just how out of control lies and false gossip about celebrities is among the media (without which you'd hear virtually no bad things about Christina or other artists, other than your local jealous kids and such). It's a problem that has existed for decades, and even though stars have warned the public, there is just no way the average person can understand just how many lies are made up each and every day. It's mind-blowing.

I'm hoping here to give everyone a chance to see the problem and how out of control it is. This helps all celebrities, and also hopefully educates the public too, so they won't be sitting ducks for the media and radio DJs who depend on fooling everyone just to get ratings.
